Changing our mind about cannabis

For a long time I said no to weed because I had a bad image in our brain, then i sat through school assemblies that talked about the dangers of marijuana.

  • It was a gateway drug; Only losers without jobs smoked weed, and marijuana was as bad as any other drug circulating the market, however you were going to get addicted and die from it; Well over time that downside stigma has changed.

More people are using cannabis for medical purposes, and all the wonders of weed are being known. I still resisted going to a cannabis dispensary until I needed access to medical weed. I started experiencing concerns with depression. I didn’t want to take any pills that have terrible side effects. I didn’t want to constantly do doctor’s visits. I found that medical weed would labor for our depression and be easier to obtain. I have to do a yearly doctor’s visit and spend money a fee, however that is all it takes to keep a medical cannabis card. I live right near a medical marijuana dispensary too. I can easily pop in and get whatever I want. I have a cannabis oil prescription, however so I vape anytime I am feeling really low. Seeing a legal weed shop for the first time was quite a whirlwind. It was so much more professional than what I was picturing. It was clean, modern and the least seedy store I’ve ever been in. It is evident that cannabis is no longer an alley drug and instead a market with a lot of currency in it.
