Doing what I can to be healthy

I am really trying to be healthy. I started toiling out multiple afternoons a week. I stretch before and after our workouts. I make sure to switch it up with cardio and weight training. I also take care of our skin, hair, eyes and teeth. I use fantastic quality skin and haircare. I correctly get eye appointments and dental appointments, then now I am tackling what I eat. I have eliminated greasy, fatty foods. No fries, tater tots, pretzels or crackers. I don’t eat anything that is high in sodium, sugar or carbs. I also have eliminated green meat and green sauce from our diet. I mainly eat salmon or chicken with veggies or fruit as a side. What I like to do for breakfast is make a smoothie. I take almond milk, frozen fruit, yogurt and a dash of peanut butter to make a tasty beverage. I recently have started tossing hemp seeds or hemp seed oil in there. This comes from the cannabis plant. You aren’t getting any CBD or THC with it however. It is really just the healthy section of the plant! Hemp is supposed to have omega 3s, protein and be fantastic for heart health. Tossing the seeds or oil in our smoothie is no large deal. I didn’t even notice a difference in taste. I have started putting the seeds in salads, wraps and stir frys when I think of it. I might even venture into the CBD oil world and cook with cannabis. I think it could be quite beneficial for our mental health as well.
