I have been trying to save money any way that I possibly can. Are you in the same boat as me? I didn’t lose my job, but the cost of inflation has been so big that my same paycheck just doesn’t go as far as it used to. I stopped paying for a gym membership, and recently canceled several different monthly apps I was using on my TV. Goodbye Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max! I will miss them, but I had to start tightening my belt. One area that has been difficult to cut back on is medical cannabis, because I am a daily smoker. I don’t want to stop using medical cannabis, so I had to be more strategic with my budget instead. I am not ashamed to admit that I have become a big fan of the Sale Table at the medical cannabis dispensary. It is always a hodge-podge of items that have been discounted, so I never find the kind of medical cannabis that I want, but I always find a good deal. Last week I bought a six-pack of cannabis drinks that were one day past their expiration date. I asked one of the cannabis budtenders if it was still safe to drink, and he shrugged and said “try it and let me know.” Not exactly the most heartening thing to hear, but I was broke and the cannabis drinks were packed with THC. Long story short, I saved a ton of money that week, and the cannabis drinks were powerful enough to get me stoned every night.
