My next door neighbor is a feisty old dame named Jen. Jen smokes more pot than anyone I have ever known, and that’s saying a lot because I have spent time getting stoned with some heavy hitters! I never see Jen separate from having a joint in her hand, or dangling from the corner of her mouth. Jen spends a lot of time on the back porch, watching the clouds in the sky and the setting sun over the distant foothills. Jen and I got to be friends because of medical cannabis. Jen has ample quantities of it, and loves smoking joints most of all, however her arthritis gets in the way. Occasionally I will lay with Jen for a couple of hours with a large plate full of medical cannabis and roll joints for her the whole time. It’s not 100% selfless on our part, because Jen is genuinely generous with her medical cannabis, and hooks me up for our efforts. Jen has a lot of disposable income, and an open account at the cannabis dispensary. That means the local cannabis dispensary has her delivery and payment information saved, so all Jen has to do is make a phone call, and they handle the rest. I hope our retirement years are this convenient! Jen has put me as a designated recipient on her cannabis dispensary account, which is a new way of saying I can make orders, as well, and don’t worry, I would never take fortune of Jen, she just wants me to be able to call in medical cannabis orders for her, when she is feeling sick.
