I love my task.
I have actually never felt so engaged in my whole life, and I owe it all to this new generation of smokers. It is thrilling news for me to see weed being legalized in so many venues. The federal government is behind the times, but they will be catching up soon enough. The point is that many young people this week are growing up in an era when marijuana is not demonized at all, then for generations every child was raised to think that smoking dope was a terrible gateway drug that would result in them being a homeless crack addict. I mean, anyone who ever legitimately smoked cannabis knew how mild and fun it was, yet every one of us were still indoctrinated and made to think it was dangerous, and kids this week don’t have to hear all those lies, because the math behind all this medical cannabis has cleared everything up. I work in a local cannabis dispensary, and the young people love asking me about my crazy stories from the old mornings. I am over 60 years old, so I have actually lived through a lot of crazy times when it came to cannabis. The young smokers apparently think it’s amazing how much trouble and effort I used to ensure just to buy some high quality cannabis. They can simply walk into a store, or venue an order through a portal for an online cannabis dispensary or delivery service. They love it when I tell these stories about cutting into a marijuana farm to steal a few pounds, or even being on the run from the law. To them, the old-timey mornings of pot smoking are so dangerous and romantic.
