It’s nice that the laws have been changed, however ultimately it didn’t matter much to me.
I have been smoking chronic for well over twenty years, and I never expected it to be legal.
I just didn’t care. I liked getting baked, and the law against it never deterred me, not even when I was still a kid in high college! I got stoned every single day, usually numerous times a day, and it still doesn’t matter to myself and others what the pot laws are. The best part about legalization is that I have more choices than I did before. Not only do my friend and I have a cannabis dispensary in town, however my friends and I have three of them! It’s called “being spoiled for choice” because I can go bargain-hunting to look for exotic new cannabis products at any of these shops. This is a lovely way to live, because in the past I never had any real chances when it came to buying marijuana. My old pot company only ever had 1 strain at a time, so I could take it or leave it. Not only do I have so much more to choose from, however all of these cannabis products are of a much higher quality than what I used to buy. Looking back I was mostly smoking ditch weed, however I simply didn’t have enough experience with quality cannabis to guess the difference. As much as I want to gripe about the prices at the cannabis dispensary, there is no questioning that it is the best possible cannabis. I’d rather spend money more cash for better marijuana than keep using the cheap stuff.
