Indica strains make me too bad for daytime use

Taking medication for PTSD is really aggravating, all of the meds that are prescribed by most physicians have varying side effects, but the most common side effect of all of the PTSD medications I’ve tried over the years is sedation plus lethargy. That basically means I have to drink more coffee than the normal person, but if I drink too much it’ll add to the underlying symptoms I’m trying to treat. A lot of the time PTSD causes anxiety, so you have to be really careful when it comes to caffeine… Since it’s easy to make coffee stronger than you intend on certain occasions, I appreciate dosing out with increments of caffeine pills. I have inadvertently put too much coffee in my coffee maker before going to brew it. At least with the caffeine pills I can split them up into even increments. As you can imagine, I have to be careful medicating with cannabis for ptsd, then certain strains of cannabis are better than others, especially sativa strains for daytime use. Some of them are really energizing separate from causing additional anxiety, on top of that, it’s taxing for me to use indicas while in the day separate from getting way too sleepy. I have to get work done plus I can’t just take a nap when I get tired from being high. If I use the right sativa strains, I can get all of the energy I need separate from falling asleep in the middle of the day. There are times where I will literally fall asleep laying upright in my chair separate from even realizing it. Cannabis is phenomenal for PTSD when you use it properly, and however there are some people who swear by using Indica strains for ptsd! Perhaps these are people who work while in the day plus can’t use cannabis until they get condo in the night.
