I always thought that people used the medical marijuana card just to get marijuana legally. I know it isn’t the case for all people, but I am sure many people feel that way. They can legally go into a marijuana dispensary and purchase all the marijuana products they want as often as they want. It may be more expensive than purchasing street marijuana, but medical marijuana is legal. You pay a doctor to approve you for marijuana and pay the state for your medical marijuana ID card. It’s like getting a license to use marijuana. My brother was one of those people who used medical marijuana because it was legal to purchase and it was better. He told me there are so many ways for people to get the medical marijuana ID card, because it is beneficial for many different ailments. All he had to do was tell people he had PTSD and the doctor practically forced the medical marijuana ID at him. He told him he had a hard time sleeping ever since he was in Desert Storm. He had never truly served in Desert Storm, even though he was in the Marines at that time. Last month, I heard one woman on the news who said her brother was getting medical marijuana to help with his addictions. She had cancer and was suffering because of the chemo, but she couldn’t get medical marijuana. I felt sorry for her.
