I am glad that we seem to be rolling back this pandemic, but I don’t think things will ever go back to the way they were.
- Whatever “normal” is, it is long gone and not going to return no matter how much we wish it would.
Part of the reason for that is that stuff that felt big and important when we lost it doesn’t feel necessary any more. I was so mad when they closed all the movie theaters… but now when they reopened I realized I was not comfortable going back, and I might never be. The same is true for the cannabis dispensary, as much as it pains my heart to say it, I may not ever return there. That doesn’t mean I will stop doing business with them, of course, because above anyone else the local cannabis dispensary has done great with adapting to the times. They digitized their entire catalogue of products, from all the freshest marijuana strains, the hardware of pipes and glass bongs, the edibles and CBD products, too. Having an online menu that you can click and drag cannabis into your basket is amazing, but that’s not all. They also have an “ask a budtender live” button, that will connect you zia Zoom to an employee of the cannabis dispensary who will answer any of your questions. They also started a free cannabis delivery service for those in the local area who order over a certain amount of merchandise. Still, I will miss just wandering around the dispensary seeing what was new.
