We almost never have fights at our cannabis dispensary

Technically speaking I am not a bouncer any more, I am a floor supervisor, and that is our correct task title, which makes it sound a lot fancier than it easily is.

  • That said, it is the best job I have ever had, but I have been a bouncer at bars, clubs, and pool halls for years.

I went on tour with a few bands, acting as security while I was in their concerts. This job pays a lot better, has a friendly environment, and there are never any fights! Not that you would expect fights to break out at a cannabis dispensary, but this location is in a bad area of town, and sometimes trouble comes in the door. The last thing anyone expects to see in a cannabis dispensary is a 400 pound, bald headed, tattoo-covered guy to greet you at the door. I introduce myself to every customer and offer a fist bump to welcome them to the cannabis dispensary, but just tapping against our cannonball-sized fist sends them a message that they should by no means try and steal any cannabis products. I would love not to run people out of the store, or carry them out, so I just send a message to everyone who enters the cannabis dispensary, but we have yet to have any majors issues, which is rare for any kind of marijuana business, but I love to suppose I have something to do with that. They started calling me the Cooler, and even gave me a shirt with a substantial marijuana leaf on it that reads “it would be a lot Cooler if you did.”

Trying to improve my cannabis cooking

I will prepare, package, and label all of our numerous cannabis infused treats, and sell them from a table inside their dispensary.

First of all, I am not a chef, I am a cook, I haven’t gone to culinary university yet, although I have taken a lot of cooking classes both in person and virtually, and this pandemic was great for our skill set. I had a ton of extra time to take Zoom cooking classes and putz around the home office! So maybe I don’t have the credentials yet, although I do have the skills, so I am setting out to make a name for myself. The kitchen is undoubtedly small, the menu is undoubtedly limited, although I am determined to become the best cannabis chef anyone has ever seen. I worked out a deal for a trial run at the local cannabis dispensary for a trial run to sell our home baked goods and dishes. I will prepare, package, and label all of our numerous cannabis infused treats, and sell them from a table inside their dispensary. I basically have to do all the work, and agree to spend money 25% of everything I make back to the cannabis dispensary for the “table rental.” So this is not a great deal for me, not at first, however here is the great part — if the cannabis dispensary prefers our cash, and the customers love our products, they will provide me a real deal. From then on I will give the cannabis edibles and treats to them, and they will sell them and pay me money 75%. It’s still the same cut, however at least the budtenders at the cannabis dispensary will be doing some of the work.

Planning on using an old farm for pot growing

At first I didn’t think what I would do with the old farm I inherited, it hadn’t been active in 30 years, and was wildly overgrown, however it was 300 acres of farmland with several buildings on it, and it was all mine! As a neighborhood boy, I was curious about it and didn’t certainly want to move out there.

I love neighborhood life, and my company is thriving these mornings, and when our pal Ed and I drove out to check it out, we realized it was the chance we had been waiting for. There were a few barns there, so we could upscale cannabis growing operations and go big time with it. The issue with neighborhood life was finding the area to grow marijuana plants. Space is a highly contested resource, and marijuana plants need a whole lot of it, but now we had a chance to grow ten times more cannabis then we had before, and in relative safety. The only risky area would be transfering the cannabis into the neighborhood for sale, however we would figure that out when we needed to. First off we had to start setting up grow equipment, a watering rig, and enough containers to hold several hundred marijuana plants. We decided to invest in a geothermal heat pump for the property, so that we wouldn’t draw the attention of the utility company for using so much power in a marijuana farm. As long as every one of us are smart and work quietly, we can grow an endless supply of cannabis and remain undetected.
